so my roommate (@aadillpickle) made this really cool site to acknowledge the people in his life who have helped him become the person he is today.

it’s kinda like a python requirements.txt file, but for humans (or a javascript package.json file for you web nerds out there).

instead of listing software dependencies, it lists people dependencies.

people that have helped shape who you are today, each with their own unique qualities that you’ve learned from.

you can just do things.
winners never whine, whiners never win.
respect is about treating others as equals – it’s not about putting them above you on a pedestal. that will actually alienate them.
communicate well, communicate often. especially with the bad, uncomfortable stuff

get my driver’s license
- just passed my written test yesterday, so now i just need to git gud at driving & take the actual road test
get my first car
drive my family & friends on a road trip
host events in sf
play more basketball every week (hmu if you’re down to ball in sf!)

thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. you clearly have good taste. 🙃

i’ve never really written a blog before, but this is something i wanna do, starting this new year.

when i first started building projects online, back in high school, i did it because it was fun.

not to make money. not to get popular. but to simply have fun.

it’s funny because looking back, one of the first projects i ended up shipping for fun not only gave me my first internet money, but also paid for my college (story for another day!).
